WME Staff Celebration Conference

On Tuesday 18th May, WME had our first staff conference. The whole WME team spent the day at Mercure Albrighton Hall Hotel for day a of staff development, reflection, celebration and team building.

The day commenced with a business update from the WME senior management team, where we looked back at the successes over the last few years and looked ahead to new developments and business plans moving forward.

Staff were encouraged to share success stories, and thoughts, ideas and suggestions as to how WME can develop further in the future.

In the afternoon, the team took part in “Crystal Maze” themed games with the winning team being made up of John (Billing), Neil (IT), Claire (Customer Services) and Nathan (Finance).   

Organiser and MD, Nigel Evans commented, “It has been a challenging period for the industry as a whole, and we have lurched from the challenges presented by Covid, straight into the “energy price crises. The reason WME has flourished, continued to deliver excellent service levels, and even continued our growth, is testament to the hard working, knowledgeable and resilient staff base that we have. Today we celebrated that, and I hope we are all inspired and refreshed, ready to continue our journey”.
