On Thursday 25^th May, WME exhibited at the Confederation of Schools Trusts inaugural COO/CFO conference at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre.

The event bought together Chief Operating Officers and Chief Financial Officers from multi academy trusts across the country to explore the challenges and potential solutions currently facing Trusts.

One of those challenges over the past 18 months has been soaring energy costs and as a result, our stand was busy discussing risk managed energy procurement, future energy prices, and our how we could help Trusts to manage, monitor and reduce their energy consumption.

It was great to speak to many existing customers, as well as generate new leads which we look forward to following up on over the coming weeks.

WME are a key supplier to the education sector, procuring energy and providing additional services to over 2,000 schools and academies. We are a “recommended supplier” by the CST and our flexible energy frameworks are approved by the Department of Education.

We would like to thank all at the CST for hosting the event, and we look forward to exhibiting at the Annual Conference in October.
