Department for Education approve WME's latest energy framework
WME are delighted that our newest flexible electricity framework has been approved by the Department for Education (DfE).
The new framework, which has been awarded to npower Business Solutions, covers the period of supply between 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2028.
WME are delighted that the DfE continues to recognise the benefits that our flexible energy frameworks bring in terms of delivering compliant, risk managed energy procurement solutions to schools and academies across the UK.

The new framework was a culmination of many months of hard work from the WME team ensuring that the framework offers everything our customers will need over the coming 4-year period.
WME currently contract with over 2,000 schools, academies and colleges and we are looking forward to working with the DfE to further support the education sector to navigate the increasingly tricky area of energy procurement”.
WME’s current gas framework is also DfE approved and both can be viewed on the DfE’s Find a Framework website, designed to signpost schools to trusted suppliers and frameworks.
